Many people are asking whether Vichy’s Anti-Dandruff Shampoo helps. We decided to research this out…
AntiDandruff.NET team searched the web for opinions about Vichy Dercos Anti-dandruff Shampoo, here are some of them:
It does not help. There is no change on my scalp or what so ever. Dandruff remains.
Every so often I get really stubborn dandruff that’s basically not even dandruff. It occurs to me only right at the edge of the scalp. Large scales are peeling off and underneath there are red stains. Pharmacist told me that was dermatitis and I should go to dermatologist, but I decided to try Vichy’s anti-dandruff shampoo first. After a few washes my scalp is greatly improved. I noticed that dandruff occurs to me when I’m stressed out, that is why I have always a bottle of Vichy’s shampoo at home.
My scalp gets very itchy every autumn. When this occurs I start using Vichy’s Dercos anti-dandruff shampoo and the problem is quickly gone. (it takes around 1 week)
”Too aggressive”- I’ve used it when I had problems with dandruff. I was not satisfied with it because it was too aggressive for my scalp. My scalp got greasy extremely fast.
Vichy Dercos Anti-Dandruff Shampoo contains two active ingredients: selenium disulfide and salicylic acid. Selenium disulfide is a powerful dermatological agent that removes dandruff after the first week of using the shampoo. The deposition of the selenium disulfide in the hair root prevents the formation of micro-organisms and the occurrence of dandruff (it works against fungi Pityrosporum ovale). Salicylic acid is a known for its keratolytic effect – it removes scales from the surface of the scalp, while it disinfects the scalp at the same time. Vichy’s Anti-dandruff shampoo also contains Cohesyl™. Cohesyl™ acts as a binder that connects the scalp cells and thus prevents the formations of dandruff.
